Michael (Mike) Anderson

Our character is called Micheal (Mike) Anderson.

He's a teenage boy and he likes skateboarding, playing basketball and biking. He's won two skateboard competitions and plays basketball in a club. He also likes going to the park with his friends.

His favourite items are books – he's quite a bookworm -, his skateboard, and PSP. He has a cat called Dandelion and a dog called Scraps.

He loves pizza, pasta and American bagels. He has two older sisters called Abby and Meg and one smaller brother called Jimmy. He plays the drums and his favorite music is rock.

Michael comes from Switzerland and speaks English, French and Spanish. He comes to school on his skateboard. He was born on the 1st of November.

His favorite subjects are P.E and Music because he plays the drums and basketball, but he can't decide which one will be his profession. His best friend is called Andrew.

His Apperance

He has light brown hair and blue eyes and a sallow complexion. He's fond of wearing his white Puma t-shirt and jeans, and usually wears trainers as he's quite active and likes being comfortable.

He is generally quite content with his lot in life. He's trustworthy, friendly and open-minded. However, he does tend to lose his temper a little when he becomes frustrated which gets him into hot water sometimes.

The children in the French and German sections also created characters that were well thought through with deep family stories. Unfortunately, they were not chosen to be used in the Comenius production. However, they will be brought to life and used in drama lessons within EES.

Julio Stevens-DoSantos, 14 ans, est né en France, à Strasbourg, le 23 mars. Sa mère, Maya DoSantos, est née au Portugal en 1968. Elle est psychologue et écrivain. Actuellement elle finit une trilogie de romans fantastique-amoureux, intitulée la Trilogie des Anges. Son père, américain, s’appelait Andrea Stevens. Il travaillait au Conseil de l’Europe, mais il est mort dans le crash d’un avion en 2008. Il avait 43 ans. Julio vit avec sa mère du côté de Gallia, près de l’arrêt de tram, sur le quai des Bateliers.

Julio est fils unique. Il va à l'EES depuis la rentrée en S4FR. Il parle portugais à la maison. Il a pris anglais en LV2 et Espagnol en LV3. Il fait maths 3.5, arts plastiques et latin.

Il est assez sociable et ouvert d'esprit. Il a de bonnes notes, mais il bavarde, son travail est propre mais Julio est un peu dyslexique.

C'est un très gentil garçon, amical et drôle, mais parfois impulsif et mauvais perdant, mais il s'est bien intégré dans notre classe. Il a les yeux verts, cheveux bruns un peu bouclés, et une peau matte. Il a un beau sourire et de belles dents. Il mesure 1,72m pour 64 kilos. Julio est apprécié par les filles car il est beau garçon. Il s'habille avec des jeans un peu slim, de préférence bleus ou noirs ; des Bensimon grises, rouges, et des sweats de couleurs unies. Il porte souvent son american apparel rouge.

Julio fait du skate, du snowboard, du piano depuis 3 ans, et du rugby depuis cette année. Il aime bien lire (son héros est Saint Exupéry, souvenir de son père pilote) et faire la cuisine. Souvent Julio aide sa mère pour les tâches ménagères. Quand il est chez lui, il regarde un peu la télé, parle à sa mère quand elle est là pour lui raconter ses journées ou lui demander de l'aide pour ses devoirs. Il a un chat qui s'appelle Luigi.

Julio est végétarien et a horreur des gens qui mangent au cinéma. Il aime écouter les bons vieux groupes de rock ou de pop (Duffy, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones..)..

Il veut devenir architecte.

Home: 3-8 homes, my favourite is a nest in aspen or a spruce. Sometimes I live in parks or buildings too!
Special skills: I know how to move quietly during night. Also, I can fly even 40 metres!
Difficulties: I must admit that I’m a bit clumsy at moving on the ground!
Worried about animas in danger (and endangered!)
Whenever she sees an animal in danger she flies to rescue him
Unfortunately, although Lilly means well...she often is the one getting into trouble like in this newspaper article in Helsingin Sanomat...

Flora

Our character is an Irish female fairy. Her name is Flora. She will be roughly 10 years old.
Her hair and eye colour will change depending on her environment. She will have a strong personality but will also have a soft side.
She will have to wear glasses as she has a problem with her eyesight. She will be dressed in green. It can be a dress and tights or a tunic and leggings whatever is easier to find.
The shade of green isn’t too specific, as long as it’s easily identifiable as green!

Lady toxic

Lady Toxic was created millions of years ago, she was one of the three rulers of the earth. All the rulers had a specific job to do on our planet: the first ruler (Undas) controlled water, the second ruler (Viento) controlled air and the last one (Sousol) took care of the underground. The three rules were happy together and everything went on well. But after millions of years Sousol became jealous. She thought her job was the least important and wanted to be more powerful. Undas and Viento were scared she could have harmed the Earth and locked her in the underground forever.
Millions of years passed and a new kind of creature came to the earth: it was called the human being. The human being worked for centuries with its hands and strength but he was tired and began looking for a new type of energy. After thinking a while the human tried to dig in the earth and that’s the way they discovered a black and sticky liquid: THEY HAD FREED THE TERRIBLE LADY TOXIC!
You must know that after being locked in the underground Sousol started transforming and when the human beings dug her out she had become PETROL! She changed her name from Sousol to Lady Toxic and decided to have her revenge on Planet Earth! In the last one hundred years she has been poisoning the air, the water, and caused many deaths in planet Earth. Be careful, she’s dangerous!
Description:
She is a lady, she wears a dress made of petrol, she has dirty in her face, she wears black gloves and her hair is made of smoke. She has every kind of poison and toxic substance with her to use as a weapon, and she always holds in her hand the radioactive ball.
Powers:
- She troughs radioactive balls
- Her dress spreads petrol everywhere and her hair sends out toxic gases
- Every animal or plant she touches dies
- Her breath heats up everything
Aims:
She wants to control the world and destroy the environment. She can control people’s minds and make them generate more and more pollution. She always finds some way to boycott clean energies.
Her favourite sentence is “You couldn’t live without me!! hahahah”

Plasman - our Character for the play

Our S3 students worked on this character and will be creating and performing the Manosque scenes with the Maternelle classes.
This is the character Plasman.

Action: Our character turns into Plasman (Lord of Fusion) and other characters also turn into superheroes to represent the different types of renewable energy (Pyrax, Lord of fire, Volt, Lord of electricity, Aquos, Lord of Water, Gust, the Cyclone Lord)
The energy resources in Manosque have run out and the characters must find or provide new sources of energy.
